Lucy Azalea Bishop, 95, died Tuesday, March 10. Mrs. Bishop was born at Fought. She married Alfred Melcin Bishop in 1918. He preceded her in death in 1942.
She moved to Clarendon from Hedley 10 years ago. She was a member of Hedley Church of Christ.
Survivors are a step daughter, Alice Lacy, of Quanah, and a foster daughter, Wanda Tilger, of Athens; a sister, Ruth Wheeler of Cooper; 2 brothers, Allen Bailey of Kress and Maurice Bailey of Ola, Arkansas; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
