CARL O. GRANT
Funeral services were held last Wendnesday afternoon at the Section Ten Tree Lutheran church at Cumberland for Carl O. Grant, 77, of Rt. 1, Cumberland.
Mr. Grant died suddenly at his home on May 21. Rev. Norman Tennebee officiated at the sevices and burial was in East Cumberland cemetery. Mr. Grant, who never married, lived most of his life in the Cumberland area. He was born June 3, 1900, in North Dakota.
He was employed for 20 years as a chief engineer on a Great Lake boat. He was a member of the Cumberland Lodge 223 F and AM.
He is survived by two nieces, Carol Chalman of Minneapolis and Gloria Knoblauch of Lake Elmo. Minn.
