Neida Louise Stevens Agan, age 53, of Centerville, Iowa, died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at her home in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Otto Lavern and Doris(Scott)Stevens on March 3, 1956 in Des Moines, Iowa. She received her education at Des Moines Tech in Des Moines, Iowa.
In February of 2001, Neida was united in marriage to Neal Agan in Centerville, Iowa. She worked for a time at McGraw-Edison, Neely and Rubbermaid all in Centerville as well as working at AYM in Albia, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by: her parents.
Neida is survived by: her husband, Neal Agan of Mystic, Iowa; daughters, Jennifer Snyder and Jimmy of Udell, Iowa, Julie Stevens and Jody and her husband, Jared Seddon all of Centerville, Iowa; grandchildren, Alisha, Tea, Shayla Stevens, Chase and Skye Snyder all of Udell, Iowa; Brittany Miskimins and Aaron Gerard both of Centerville, Iowa; Bryce Steele, Hunter Seddon, Zackery Seddon all of Centerville, Iowa; brothers, Jerry Stevens of San Diego, California, Bobby Stevens of Des Moines, Iowa, Roger Stevens of Carlisle, Iowa, Donnie Stevens of Millerton, Iowa; Step-brothers, James Thomas of Des Moines, Iowa, Charlie Thomas of Chariton, Iowa; step-sisters, Carol Lambert of Omaha, Nebraska, Karen Voshell of Chariton, Iowa and Vicki Payton of Russell, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 1 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with David Rummans officiating. Burial will follow at the Haines Cemetery north of Centerville. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 9 am till 1 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
