Philip Talkington, aged 82 years, died at his home, 1504 Franklin Street, this morning at 10 o'clock. He is survived by a widow, and the following children: Holly Talkington, Mrs. Sarah Hitch, Mrs. Martha Aikens, Mrs. Etta Lambert, and Mrs. Monta Henderson. Mr. Talkington was one of the oldest members of the Christian Church here.
The funeral services will be conducted from the residence Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
