Frank Arthur Drenik, 94, a longtime resident of West Mifflin, died Monday, Jul. 21, 2008 in Garden City, S.C. Mr Drenik was born in Canonsburg, the son of the late Frank and Frances Drenik of Strabane. He was predeceased by his wives, Lucille Humes Drenik and Anna Bowers Drenik; his brothers, William and Joseph Drenik; and a sister, Mary Buchanan.

Mr. Drenik was employed by U.S. Steel Clairton Works. He was a member and past Deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Clairton. He was also a member of Valley of Pittsburgh, Scottish Rite Mason Lodge 714, Syria Shriner, McKeesport Caravan No. 4, Tall Cedars of Lebanon 138, SNPJ Lodge 719, Moose Lodge 172, Elks Lodge 11, and AARP Chapter 1612.

Surviving are his son, Frank and daughter-in-law, Linda; grandchildren, Frank Drenik and Deana Denton; and three great-grandchildren, all living in the Antioch, Calif. area. Also surviving are his daughter, Kay Drenik Alfonsi and her husband, Martin "Sonny" Alfonsi, residing in Georgetown, S.C.; and two grandchildren, Joseph Alfonsi and Sharyn Eby, both of New York City.

Visitation will be Friday, Jul. 25, 2008, from 9 a.m. until time of the service at 10 a.m. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. Interment Jefferson Memorial Park.
