A Thunderbolt pilot, Lt. Drenik was born in Strabane, a son of Frances and the late Frank Drenik. While attending Trinity High School, he was active in all scholastic affairs and earned his letter in football, basketball and baseball.
In addition to his mother, Lt. Drenik is survived by two brothers, Sgt. Joseph J., Army Air Corps, San Antonio, Tex., and Frank A., Clairton; and one sister, Mrs. Mary J. Drenik Buchanan, Strabane.
