Word has been received of the death of Mary Buchanan, 81, of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Strabane,
who died on November 10, 1997, after a brief Illness.
She was born on April 17, 1916.
Mrs. Buchanan lived in Strabane until 1960 and she and her husband, Paul moved to Las Vegas in 1979. He died in 1993.
Mrs. Buchanan managed the family-owned Colony Grill in the 1930s and 40s.
Surviving is a son, Joseph Paul of Laguna Nigel, California.; a daughter Claire Frances Buchanan; two brothers, Frank of West Mifflin, Pa., and Joseph of Brentwood, California; and one grandson Connor,
and a granddaughter Heather.
