Alvina Teigland 1918-2002
Alvin Teigland, 84, died Saturday, January 12, 2002, at her daughter's home in Wyoming, Minnesota.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and special aunt.
Survivors include her sister, Julie Amundson, of Bemidji; six children, Gale (Pauline) Teigland, of Shevlin, Ritchie (Sandy) Teigland, of Wyoming, Minnesota, Annette (Mike) Swanum, of Brandenton, Florida, Karen (Bert) Lundberg, of Wyoming, Minnesota, Mardell Teigland, of Shevlin, Christine (Lowell) Tangjerd, of Albany, New York; 15 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, who died December 4, 1984, and 12 brothers and sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 18, at Clearwater Lutheran Church, Shevlin. Officiating will be Rev. Lyle Twite and Rev. Linda Tenneson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Lundberg, Jim Lundberg, Chad Lundberg, Gary Teigland, Dale Teigland, Randy Teigland and Kirk Swanum.
