Final Rites Held Here July 19 For Mrs. Guy Miller
Funeral services for Mrs. Guy (Hattie) Miller, 81, of Bedford, lifetime Taylor county resident, held July 19 at the Bedford Methodist Church, were conducted by Rev. Richard Viney. Mrs. Miller died July 16 at Pearl Terrace Manor here. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, Bedford.
Hattie Mae Connor [Conner], daughter of John and Mary Connor [Conner], was born in Taylor co., Iowa, Oct. 3, 1886.
She was married Nov. 10, 1915 to Guy H [all] Miller of Bedford. They resided on a farm southeast of Bedford for many years, moving to Bedford about 20 years ago.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, WSCS and Eastern Star.
In 1965 she and her husband celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary.
She is survived by her husband, Guy Miller, of Pearl Terrace Manor; one sister, Margaret Pearson, of Daly City, Calif.; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Hattie had a smile for everyone and loved the out-of-doors, especially her garden and flowers as well as birds.
