R. M. Connor Died In Bedford Friday
Bob Connor, a long time resident of Taylor County and for the past several months of Bedford, died Friday, January 9 after having been in failing health for several years.
Funeral services were held at the Wetmore Funeral Home Monday afternoon January 12, Rev. Anthony Blankers of the Bedford Methodist church officiating. Burial in Conway cemetery.
Robert M. Connor, son of John and Mary Connor, was born in Scott County, Iowa, near Davenport, on January 9, 1872 and died on his 87th birthday. At an early age he moved with his parents to Taylor County. Mr. Connor never married and the past ten years of his life he made his home with his sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Miller.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Pierson of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Guy Miller of Bedford; and one brother, Grant Connor of Doland, South Dakota; nieces and nephews.
