Chilton—Mrs. Emma Gerard, 84, formerly of the town of Charlestown, passed away Thursday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Philhauer, in Bradford, Ill. She had just returned there this week after a visit at the home of John Weeks in the town of Charlestown. The body will arrive in Chilton Late Saturday afternoon and will lie in state at the Pfeffer Funeral home until the time of services. The Rev. A. E. Pflaum will officiate, with burial in the Union cemetery, town of Charlestown. Pallbearers will be T. Henry Weeks, John Weeks, Jesse Weeks, Anton Sell, Joe Dhein and Oscar Miller.
