She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Thad W. Davis; an infant son and son, Michael Thad Davis; her parents; and two brothers, John and Bob Strickland.
She is survived by three children, Nancy Neighbors (Allan) of Wimberley, Diane Poston (Gary) of Lake Jackson and Mark Davis (Cheryl) of Lake Jackson; daughter-in-law Debbie Davis of Lake Jackson; nine grandchildren, Clyde E. "Chip" (Stacey) Smith, Thad (Ashley) Davis, Aaron and Trey Davis, Kyle and Kristen Poston, Carissa (Todd) Story, Spence (Lindsie) Davis and Brian Davis; two step-grandchildren, Allan (Whitney) Neighbors IV and Allison Neighbors; six great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Lee (Mary Lou) Strickland of Fort Worth; and sister-in- law, Dolly (Rex) Bailey of Angleton.
