Funeral services for William Charles Fanning of Salida, who died on April 4, 1959 in Colorado Springs, were held Tuesday at Chapel of the Vision. Rev. Fred Venable was the officiating minister. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. A retired mill worker, he was born on July 17, 1895 in Raton, New Mexico. His wife, Irene, preceded him in death. Survivors include his son, Charles Kirk Fanning of Sacramento, California; his mother, Margaret Fanning of Fairplay; his brother, Earle James Fanning of Lordsburg, New Mexico; and several grandchildren.
