Bulmer was born January 11, 1925 in Franklin Co., IN to John Stone and Hattie (Winkler) Stone. Lorena married Maurice Taylor April 19, 1941 and he preceded her in death May 20, 1987 - she then married Clarence E. Bulmer September 17, 1994 and he survives.
Lorena worked at Philco-Ford in Connersville for seventeen years and was also a real estate broker. She was a past deputy of the OES Brookville #449 and a past member of the Laurel Homemakers Club. She was graduated from Laurel High School in the Class of 1943. She was a Grist Mill clerk in Metamora during the 1980s as well as a member of the Franklin County Area Planning Committee. She loved playing cards, singing, and clog dancing. She was also a Dairy Farmer during the 60s and 70s.
She leaves behind her husband, Clarence E. Bulmer of Laurel, IN and one son, Don Taylor of Laurel, IN and one daughter, Mrs. James (Darlena) McQueen, Jr. of Laurel, IN She also leaves two step-sons, Ron Bulmer of Rushville, IN and Monty Bulmer of New Castle, IN one half-brother, John Stone of Connersville, IN. She is survived by six grandchildren and four step-grand and eleven great grand and two great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
