Cornelia Ferrell was born June 20, 1859. The daughter of Alfred Ferrell and Tamsey Lawson Ferrell. She married William 'Riley' Harris on July 23, 1881 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. She passed away in 1921, her funeral was conducted by the Rev. John R. Chiles.
She was the mother of Nocie Harris Lawson, Cora Harris Lawson, Elizabeth Harris Clamon, James Riley Harris, Willie Alice "Wickie" Harris Woods, Mollie Harris, Samuel Carson Harris, Jesse Kroger Harris, and Lucy Ethel Harris Mayes.
Burial is unknown at this time, though it is believed that Cornelia may be buried in the cemetery at the First Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN.
