ROGERSVILLE — Mrs. Lucy Ethel Harris Mayes, 73, of Rt. 3, Rogersville, died at 5:05 a.m. Wednesday at Hawkins County Nursing Home after an extended illness.
She attended the East Rogersville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie G. Mayes; one son, R.A. Mayes; one grandson, all of Rogersville; one brother, Sam C. Harris, Bristol, Tenn.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lucy Ethel Harris Mayes will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Broome Funeral Home with Rev. Truman DeBord officiating. Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 -9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Broome Funeral Home in Rogersville is in charge of arrangements.
