William "Riley" Harris was born abt 1864 and died in 1917. He married Cornelia Ferrell on July 23, 1881 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. His funeral was conducted by the Rev. John R. Chiles.
He was the father of Nocie Harris Lawson, Cora Harris Lawson, Elizabeth Harris Clamon, James Riley Harris, Willie Alice "Wickie" Harris Woods, Mollie Harris, Samuel Carson Harris, Jesse Kroger Harris, and Lucy Ethel Harris Mayes.
Burial is unknown at this time, though it is believed that Riley may be buried in the cemetery at the First Baptist Church in Rogersville, TN.
