Funeral services are pending for James Keith Porter, 40, a farmer, who died Sunday night in the Wellington Hospital following a heart attack. He had been hospitalized for three weeks.
Mr. Porter graduated from Wellington (Texas) High School with the Class of 1931. He lived in Pampa in the early 1930's working for the Columbia Carbon Co. He was a brother of Mrs. M.F. Tibbetts of Lefors and an uncle of Robin Tibbetts of The News.
Other survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.K. Porter of Wellington; two other sisters, Mrs. Randolph Lacy of Wellington and Mrs. Faye Smith of Stanford; and two brothers, Wilson of Wellington and Marshall of Bell, California.
