Mrs Gladys May 74 of Huntington, WVa.,died Sunday April 9, 1995 in King's Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Ky. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Carl Lilly and L.P. Riggs officiating. Burial will be in May Cemetery. She was born May 26, 1920 in Wayne County, WVa., a daughter of the late Thomsd and Amanda Pinson Riggs. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Russell May; and one son, Arnold Russell May Jr. She Attended Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons and daughts-in-law, David and Juanita May, Danny and Elaine May, and Willie and Sandy May, All of Huntington. and Don and Carolyn May of Ashland; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Sylvia and Bobby Fortner, Grace and Gary Scarberry, and Florence May of Huntington, and Darlene and Jim Dyer of Sounth Point, Ohio; one brother, Lindsey Riggs of Huntington; two sisters, Pauline Brumfield of Huntington and Grace Neunes of Oraville, Calif.; 20 grand children; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Mary Nelson of Huntington. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Reger Funeral Home.Mrs. May will be taken to the church one hour before the service.
