Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Carr Stewart, 91, of the Sulfur Community will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 15 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home, Livingston, TN with burial in Eckels Cemetery, Livingston, TN. The family will receive friends from 5 until 9 p.m. on Friday evening.
Mrs. Stewart died February 13, 2002 at Bethesda Healthcare Center in Cookeville, TN. She was born February 26, 1911 in Overton County to the late William A. & Mary Susan Handy Carr. She was a teacher and factory worker.
She was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
She is survived by daughters, Doris Jean Richardson of Hazel Park, MI, Barbara Lively of Danville, KY, and Nancy Bilbrey of Urbana, OH; sons, Dwight Stewart of Rickman and Champ Stewart of Monterey; 10 grandchildren, Michael Richardson, David Richardson, Beverly Richardson Adams, Lori Lively White, Lisa Lively, Jill Lively, Eric Lively, Angela Walker, Rhonda Stewart, and Alan Bilbrey; and 8 great-grandchildren.
