Mr. Joseph G. Barr. 57. of Box 766. Frankstown Road, RD 2, died at 12:41 p.m. Friday Dec. 20. 1985. in Mercy Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Barr retired as a maintenance man from the A&P Warehouse, after 25 years’ service. He was born May 7, 1928, in Altoona, the son of William I., and Blanche M. Barr, and June 17. 1950, in Winchester, Va., married Betty C. Lear.

Surviving are his wife, three children Timothy J. of Hollidaysburg, Debbie A. at home and Diane L. Gilliam of Fort Collins, Col., and two grandchildren.

Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Jack of Altoona, Virginia Warner of Pompano. Fla.: Vivian Farringer of Lewisburg. William D. of Stevensville. Md.; Doris Isenberg and Robert of Baltimore, Md., and Charlotte and Janet Shoop in Florida

Mr. Barr was a member of the Frankstown Park Missionary Church, where he was serving as senior deacon.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, and from 1O to 11 a m. Monday in the Frankstown Park Missionary Church


BARR — Services for Joseph G. Barr, of Box 766. Frankstown Road. RD 2. will be held at ll a.m. Monday in the Frankstown Park Missionary Church, by the Rev. John Chilcott and the Rev. Joseph Sabo. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p m Sunday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, and from 10 a m. until time of services Monday in the church
