Mrs. Gore died on December 14, 2001, at Mayberry Health Care Center, Gainesboro, Tennessee. She was born September 27, 1906 in Franklin, North Carolina to the late Charles and Jenny Angel Mashburn. She was a housewife and a beautician.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton, North Carolina.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Jane Cassetty of Carthage, Tennessee and Janice Cox of Montgomery, Alabama, 3 sisters, Lola Ferraro of Leesburg, Florida, Janie Hardin of Canton, North Carolina, and Deeda Elmore of Franklin, North Carolina, 2 brothers, Avery Mashburn of Cullowhee, North Carolina and Dean Mashburn of Franklin, North Carolina,
