NICHOLAS MAEHREN
Nicholas Maehren, 50, died at his home in Avon at 7:00 a.m. He had been ill a year.
The funeral will be held at St. Benedict's Church in Avon at 9:30 a.m. with burial in the Avon cemetery.
Mr. Maehren spent his entire life in Avon. In 1906, he married Miss Elizabeth Achman who survives with three children - Eleanor, Norbert and Viola at home. He leaves three brothers - Casper Maehren of St. Cloud, and Math and Herman of Avon; and three sisters - Mrs. Theodore Raden and Mrs. Peter Schmitt of Avon and Mrs. Agnes Lennertz of Minot, North Dakota.
Nick was born July 2, 1883 in Minnesota to Herman Maehren (Germany) and Catherine Mayer (Germany). He was married to Elizabeth. His occupation was Farmer, Daily Farm. He was a resident of Avon. He died October 17, 1933 of Pulmonary Tb at Avon and was buried at the Avon Cemetery.
