Funeral services for Edith k. Hoffman 75, of 114 S. Main St., Bendersville, will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Dugan Funeral Home, 111 S. Main St., Bendersville.
She died Saturday, May 20, 2000 in her home.
Born May 4, 1924 in Menallen Township, Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Walter P. and Merel M. Cline Kline.
Mrs. Hoffman had been a cook for Bendersville Elementary School. She had previously been employed by Knouse Foods Coop Inc., Peach Glen, and also by Keystone Tile Mill, Bendersville.
She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Bendersville, and the Bendersville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years. John P. Hoffman two sisters, Glenna K. Starncr of Gardners and Irene Books of Montgomery; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tony L. Hoffman who died four years ago on the same day and at the same time.
The Rev. Beth B. Folkemer and the Rev. Eugene H. Moore will officiate at services.
Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
