The Gettysburg Times March 16, 1967

Walter P Kline, 74, Idaville, died Wednesday evening at 11:15 in the Carlisle Hospital. He had been in ill health for some time and was admitted to the hospital Wednesday morning.
The deceased was born in York County, a son of the late William and Adeline Sutton Kline. He had retired several years ago after serving 30 years with the Reading Railroad. Mr. Kline was a member of the Gettysburg Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge of Carlisle.
His first wife, the former Miss Ada Barbour, died in 1918. His second wife, the former Merel Cline, died in 1936.
Survivors include six daughters and one son, Mrs. Eleanor K Lawver, Idaville; Mrs. A H Meurer, Ft. Sill, Okla.; Miss Nina Kline, Idaville; Mrs. John P Hoffman, Bendersville; Mrs. Stanley Starner and Mrs. Marlin Books, both of Gardners R2; Walter Kline, York Springs R2; two sisters, Mrs Ida Kilmore, Mechanicsburg; Mrs. Bertie Shirer, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Elmer Kline, Mechanicsburg and a half brother, Harry Stonesifer, Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Monday afternoon at 2:00 from the Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville. Rev. john Loewen and Rev. Jacob Stover will officiate with burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
