She was born on May 27, 1924, in Shenandoah and was a daughter of the late Elmer and Lena Mae Gochenour Shuler.
On Oct. 3, 1942, she married Ray K. Burner, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Gloria J. Atkins of Stanley and Linda L. Campbell of Shenandoah; two sons, John W. and R. Kenneth Burner, both of Shenandoah; three sisters, Mary Frances bull of Front Royal, Helen Freeman of New Market, and Annabelle Harner of Elkton; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Florine Kibler and Ollie L. Painter; and three brothers, Edward, Robert and Elmer Shuler.
A graveside service was conducted on Sunday, Aug. 29, at Rest Haven Cemetery in Shenandoah by Elder Ernest M. Long.
