Carol J. Shelton 80, of Bloomington passed away on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Richland Bean-Blossom Health Care in Ellettsville. Carol has recently celebrated her 80th birthday, she was born on January 30, 1930 in Greene County to the late Claude and Bonnie B. (Sparks) Burch.
Carol retired from Otis Elevator in Bloomington.
She leaves behind her children James (Sandy) Shelton, Jerry Shelton, and Cindy Breedon. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, 1 brother Larry Burch, and 1 sister Linda Johnson Webster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Hubert Shelton, and 1 sister Margert Burch.
Friends may call at the Day Funeral Home on Monday March 1, from 11 – 1:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM also at Day Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Solsberry Cemetery.
