Thomas Webb Rogers, 91, of 37 Trlmont Trail, Franklin, died Wednesday following an extended illness.

A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Joseph H. and Lou Noland Rogers. He was a retired employee with the State Highway Department. He was a former resident of Lower Fines Creek section of Haywood County and was a member of Lower Fines Creek Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Fannie McGee Rogers; four daughters, Mildred Martin of Franklin, Ruth Magher of Spartanburg, S.C., Geraldine Wolfe of Miami, Fla., and Dorothy Greenleaf of Hasletl, Mich.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Garrett Funeral Home, Waynesville. The Revs. J.F. Broyles, John K. Miller and Betty Wolfe will officiate. Burial will be in the Crawford Memorial Gardens of Clyde.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lower Fines Creek Methodist Church building fund, in care of Joe Rathbone, Route 3 Clyde, 28721.
