NEWBERRY- Services for Frances Senn Bickley, 76, of 1218 Hillcrest Drive, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lewis United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mary Unrue, Rev. Harry Workman, and the Rev. Jeff O'Dell. Burial will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Bickley, 11704 SC Highway 121, Newberry. Memorials may be made to the Lewis United Methodist Church, 1105 First Street, Newberry, 29108.
Mrs. Bickley, widow of Ben T. Bickley, died Saturday at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Born in Newberry, she was a daughter of the late G. Comer and Catherine Estelle Kibler Senn. She was a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Savannah. She was a retired register nurse at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital, having been employed there for 35 years. Following her retirement, she worked at Dr. John Green's office. She was a member of Lewis United Methodist Church, the Millie Hamby Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving: daughter, Linda B. McMahan of Mauldin; son, Randy (Whup) Bickley of Newberry; sister Dorothy Vito of Arlington, Texas; brother G. Harold Senn of Hiawassee, Ga.; grandchildren, Amber McMahan, Heather Bickley, Benji Bickley, Katie Bickley, and Matthew Alewine.
