Services for William M "Bill" Burdick, 53, prominent resident of Loving, Texas were held at the Loving Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Wilma Corse, assisted by Rev. O.M. Johns, pastor of the Loving Baptist church. William Burdick moved to Texas with his parents in 1906. He attended Loving schools and made his home in the family home, five miles southeast of Loving. He was a farmer and never married. He was a member of the Loving Methodist Church. Survived by his mother; four brothers - Henry, Roy, Ray and Arthur Burdick; three sisters - Mrs. John Horn, Mrs. George Blevins, Mrs. Myrtle Cook; one uncle - Ed French; 15 nieces and nephews.
