Geraldine Crouch, 80, of Burgin, widow of Joe Lawrence Crouch died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the Norton's Hospital in Louisville. Geraldine was born July 16, 1929 in Delmer Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Ethel Burton. She was the supervisor of the Blazer Hall Cafeteria on the University of Kentucky Campus and attended the Burgin Church of God and enjoyed raising flowers.
Geraldine is survived by two sons: Lawrence D. Crouch and Billy Joe Crouch both of Harrodsburg, three daughters: Judy Duncan of Jacksonville Florida, Linda Parker of Nicholasville, Kentucky and Tammy Jones of Burgin, Kentucky, one brother: Sonny Burton of Somerset Kentucky, three sisters: Fostine Kenney, Katheline Spencer both of Somerset Kentucky and Eardine Dean of Nicholasville Kentucky. She also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Irvine officiating. Burial will be in the Burgin Memorial Gardens with Alan Robbins, Steve Sims, Justin Jones, Corey Jones, Joseph Collins and William Robinson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Gibson, Chris Duncan, Carl Duncan and Rodney Stine.
