JUNE KENNEDY - MELBOURNE - June Kennedy, 77, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. June was a retired OB/ GYN Nurse from Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C. and also a veteran of the United States Air Force. June is survived by her daughter, Beth Cox of Woodbridge,VA; sons, Don Kennedy of Melbourne, FL, and Justin Kennedy of Plano, TX; sister, Freda White of Monroe, LA; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2009 at Suntree United Methodist Church in Melbourne. Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1260 U.S. Highway 1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
