(Jones) Adkins #40508870, 1st wife of Thomas Koe/Coe "Tom" Adkins. Judy's mother, Della, died young in 1927 following a long illness. Judy was reared by her stepmother, Ola, who was her father's second wife. The following information is from her descendant, Lora Gregory: Judy married Obie Lee Gregory on April 1, 1941 but their marriage ended in divorce about 1956. After the divorce their children lived in an orphanage near Monticello, Wayne County, Kentucky. Judy was beaten to death in Chicago, Illinois in July 1979 and is buried next to her father and step-mother, Tom and Ola Adkins, in Monticello, Wayne Co., Kentucky.
