Woodrow Adkins, age 56, of Monticello,
passed away Sunday, January
8th at the Wayne County Hospital.
He was born June 10th, 1932 in
Wayne County, the son of Ola Barnett
and Thomas Adkins, both of
whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters,
Jeannie Bertram and Linda Baker,
both of Monticello; one step-son, Roy
Walker of Monticello, one stepdaughter,
Kathryn Roberts, of Monticello,
two brothers, Clyde and
Paul Adkins, both of Monticello; four
sisters, Mary Clark, Beulah Bridgeman,
Louise Doss and Roxie Guffey.
Funeral services were held Tuesday,
January 10th at 2 p m in the
chapel of the funeral home with
Brothers Jimmy Hancock and
Howard Carrender officiating.
Burial was in the Green Betty
Cemetery on Morris Hill.
