Mansfield White, retired dean of Dickerson district farmers and member of one of Northern Montgomery County's most prominent families, died Tuesday afternoon at his home, "Inverness", Dickerson, aged 92 years.

Born at Dickerson on January 9, 1859, a son of the late Benjamin and Margaret A. White, he had resided and successfully farmed there all his life. His wife, the late Mrs. Ella Whitmore, predeceased him some years ago.

Surviving are these children, Wellstood White, Bethesda; Mrs. C. M. Tipton, Olney; Mrs. W. A. Daniel, F. Malcolm, and Henry White, all of Dickerson; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The body rests at the funeral home in Barnesville until Thursday afternoon, when it will be removed to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Poolesville, for final rites there at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. William B. Hilton, funeral director.

Resided at Inverness, the White family plantation in Beallsville, MD.
