Judith Grover Moorman of Longmont died of natural causes in Louisville on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003. She was 72.

The daughter of Vernon E. Grover and Kathryn Phelps Grover, she was born Aug. 25, 1931, in Aitkin, Minn. She married Joseph R. Moorman on Nov. 27, 1948, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Mrs. Moorman was a housewife and homemaker.

Before moving to Longmont, she moved to Boulder from Iowa in 1962.

She was a member of the Niwot Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 34 years.

She loved family, home, reading and the mountains.

"Friends, family and her cat of 17 years, Mini Mouse, will miss her," family members said.

Survivors include her husband of Longmont; five children, Melanie Moorman of Longmont, Lamont Moorman of Boulder, Sharmel Slaught of Centennial, Torrey Moor-

man of Boulder and Kimberly Lasley of Lafayette; and three grandchildre

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Niwot Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5885 Jay Road. John Carmichael will preside.

Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont is handling cremation.
