Great Falls, Sept. 10--Mrs. Julia Goodman, wife of E. H. Goodman, a rancher living near Armington, died last night from a complicaton of diseases. She has been ill about a year. Mrs. Goodman has been a resident of Montana for 16 years, residing all of that time on the ranch where she died. She came to Montana from Monroe county, Illinois, where she was born in 1854. That was before days of railroads in this part of the country, and Mrs. Goodman reached her future home by stage from Billings. Besides her husband, Mrs. Goodman leaves seven sons and three daughters to sincerely mourn her loss. All the family are at home, the youngest being but 4 years old. The deceased was possessed of a most lovable character, and no one can appreciate the husband and children have suffered who did not intimately know her.
