Sid Goodman Died Sept 20
Sidney Goodman, 75, died Monday Sept. 20, apparently of a heart attack. He had been in good health but was taken ill Sunday and was taken to a Great Falls hospital, where he died the following day.
Sidney was born in Belt in 1890 and attended school at Armington. He homesteaded in the Hilger area, then spent a few years in Canada before coming to this area in 1922. He married Ida Landry and one son, Ed Goodman, was born to this union. His wife, Ida, preceded him in death as did his five brothers, Will, Forrest, Walter, Lee and George, and three sisters, Dollie Cummins, Delia Landry and Nellie Pierro.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph Goodman, a son, Ed, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held from Croxford's. Burial was in Belt cemetery.
