Mrs. Anna Marie Lawrence passed away Friday, July 13, 1962 at Independence, Iowa.
Mrs. Lawrence was a life long resident of Delaware and Clayton Counties. She was born on December 15, 1883 to the union of Joseph and Ottilia Fischer Langhammer. Mrs. Lawrence was united in marriage to Edgar Lawrence November 17, 1905 at Hagers Grove, Mo.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar Lawrence, 6 children: Henry R. Lawrence, Flin Flin, Manitoba; Sidney S. Lawrence, Melbourne Beach, Fla.; Mrs. Delbert (Mae) Martin, Lafayette, Illinois; Mrs. Ernest (Edna) Gibbs, Staples, Minn.; Mrs. Walter (Mildred) Carlson, Oneida, Illinois; Louis Lawrence, Baltimore, Maryland; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, a sister, Clara Bagby of Winthrop, Iowa, 3 brothers: Will Langhammer, Clarence, Mo.; Geo. Langhammer, Clinton, Mo.; Albert Langhammer, Kansas City, Mo.

Services were held at 9:00 a.m. on July 17th at the St. Mark's Catholic Church by Rev. Fr. Albert H. Nees, with the Appleton Funeral Home in charge.
Casket bearers were Eugene Drees, Kenneth Weaver, Joe Morman, Claude Ryan, Joe Wegman, and Don Nefzger.
