Funeral services were held Saturday morning from St. Michael's Catholic church at Hagers Grove for John Langhammer who died Wednesday after an extended illness. He had been a druggist in Leonard for over 30 years.
Mr. Langhammer was born Nov. 1, 1885, in Iowa, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Langhammer. He was married in 1910 to Miss Mamie Prag who survives together with six children, George of Atlanta; Joe of Rock Island; Bob of Kansas City; Tom of Bettendorf, Iowa; Johnnie of Shelbina; and Mrs. Walter Resa of Leonard; eleven grandchildren; three brothers, William of Leonard; George of Clinton and Albert of Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Lawrence and Mrs. Clara Bagby, Dubuque, Iowa.
