John M. Suttle was the son of Reuben Festus Suttle and Annie Bettie Leake. His siblings were Thomas H. and Lester S. Suttle of Estesburg, Ky., Minnie Suttle Farren and Laura Suttle Bennett of Greenbrier County, West Virginia, Jasper S. Suttle of Tampa and an infant brother, Reuben Arnie, who died young.
Mr. Suttle married Cora Frances Forren, of Greenbrier Co., West Virginia, on 6 Sept. 1911. She preceded him in death in 1922. They were the parents of Reda Frances Suttle Webb, and Dorothy Suttle Barnett.
Services were held Sept. 26, 1978, at 11 a.m., in the Garden of Memories Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. K. E. McColister, officiating. Interment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa.
