Louise Imbeau Hilburn, 52, 517 S. River St. Picher Oklahoma, was found dead at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at her home.

The death is under investigation by the Ottawa County Sherriff’s (sic) Department.

Mrs. Hilburn was born Feb. 17, 1934, at Sulphur Springs, Ark.

She had lived in Picher for the past two years, moving here from Columbus, Kan. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church.

Her husband, Jimmie Hilburn, died March 2, 1974.

Survivors include four sons, Martin Wood and Roger Wood, both of Picher, Lawrence "Smokie" Wood, Baxter Springs, Kan., and Jimmy Rex Wood, Charlottetown, N.C.; a stepson, Jimmie Hilburn, Oklahoma City; four daughters, Belinda Hess, Columbus, Carolyn Collins, Tulsa, Patricia Davis, Oswego, Kan., and Letha Hilburn, Picher; a stepdaughter, Lisa Hilburn, El Reno; six sisters, Francis Burnett, Betty Stand and Velma Jimerson, all of Quapaw route 1, Hazel Burnett, Springdale, Ark., Dorothy Marbart, Colwell, and Erma Spencer, Baxter Springs; a brother, Leroy Imbeau, Quapaw; and 20 grandchildren.

Arrangements are pending with Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher.
