Roger Lynn Wood of Miami, OK passed from this life surrounded by his family on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. He was 58.
Roger was born January 31, 1960 in Brewster, WA. To Louise Hilburn and Willis Leroy (Sonny) Wood. He was a maintenance worker for a salad plant. He was a member of the Quapaw Tribe.
Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Louise, brothers, Jimmie Hilburn and Leonard Hilburn.
He is survived by his siblings, Lawrence (Smokey) Wood, Jimmie Wood, Belinda Klinzman, Lisa DeBoard, Carolyn Skinner, Patricia Davis, Martin (Popper) Wood and his baby sister Letha Fuller.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK officiated by Rev. Geoff Buffalo. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami. Inurnment will be at a later date in Newman Cemetery east of Quapaw, OK. Services have been placed in the care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
