He was married to Mildred A. Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Baker, Sr. on April 12, 1917 at Estherville. They lived in Spencer and Dickens and he was a Delco dealer. They moved to St. Louis, Mo. and later to Downey, Cal. where he continued as a electrician until retirement.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Mildred A. Droll; five daughters, Leah Jane Grossman (Mrs. Kermit) of Willmar, Minn., Peggy McFarland (Mrs. Dick) of Indianapolis, Ind., Evelyn Helt (Mrs. Dr. Vernon) of Sergeant Bluffs, Murlene Metricia of Indianapolis, Ind., Nancy Reynolds (Mrs. John) of Huntington, Calif.; two sons, Raymond D. Droll of Downey, Calif. and John Droll of Everly, Iowa. August Droll of Milford preceded his brother in death.
