WILLIAM OTIS LANFORD, prominent Spartanburg County, SC farmer, died at his residence at East Spartanburg, SC, yesterday, Wednesday, July 14, 1920, following a lengthy illness. The funeral services will be conducted at the Presbyterian Church at Pacolet, SC, this morning at 11 o'clock, followed by interment in the Pacolet Cemetery. Mr. Lanford is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Jane Sloan Lanford ; four children, all of whom reside in this Spartanburg County, SC; William, Herbert S., Mrs. H. L. Sellers and Mrs. Hugh H. Lanford. He was 67 years of age at demise and interment was in the Pacolet Methodist Cemetery. (Original obituary was rewritten to conform to Findagrave Rules by Record Hunter.)
