Funeral of Mrs. West. Remains at Campobello Laid to Rest at Motlow Church Monday. Campobello, S. C., R. F. D. No. 2, June 8 - The funeral services of Mrs. MANDA WEST were held at Motlow Church yesterday afternoon conducted by the Rev. W. W. JONES and Rev. SCAFE both of Campobello, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Cemetery at that place. Mrs. WEST was a most highly respected Christian lady of Campobello. She was a member of Campobello Baptist Church of which she was a faithful and consistent member. She was the wife of Mr. MARCUS WEST, who survives her. She is survived by seven children, Messre, ROBERT, HARVIE, WILLIAM, and SORRELS WEST, Mrs. CATIE MORROW and Miss MAGGIE WEST, all of Campobello. Her maiden name was Miss MANDA LANDFORD, daughter of Mr. MERIDA LANDFORD. She was fifty-eight years old, has been in bad health for many years. Only a few weeks ago she took to her bed. The bereaved family have a host of friends in sympathy for them.
