Peggy E. Hancock, 72, of Westville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010, in the emergency room at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.

She was born Feb. 3, 1938 in Covington, Indiana to Robert and Mary Salts Townsend. She married Ralph S. Hancock in 1961 in Danville. He died October 22, 2009.

She is survived by three daughters, Debi (Tim Grigsby) Biava, Tammy Legg and Trina (John) Hill, all of Westville; three sons, Jack (Marcia) Good of Indianapolis, Tracy Hancock of Westville and Ralph Williams Jr. of Ridge Farm; grandchildren, Jack Good Jr., Mike (Kimberly) Grider and Jessica (Justin) Cooper; a special grandson whom she raised since birth, T.J. Hancock; a very special niece whom she was very close to, Kimberly McKinney; two brothers, Bobby and Richard and four sisters, Janice, Sandy, Lois and Alice.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
