Wayne County - George Morrell Dies at Home Monday. The death of George Morrell of Fremont came as a shock to his many friends throughout Wayne and Sevier counties he died Monday following an illness of several months.
Mr. Morrell was born at Kamas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Morrell. His parents moved to Fremont when he was a small child, and he made his home there until the time of his death. He was active in civic affairs for a number of years, and is well known throughout the county for his activities in the cattle business.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma S. Morrell and the following children: Rufus, Melvin, Leslie, Marcus, Alton, Rulon and Clifton Morrell, Mrs. Annie Taylor, Mrs. Rosella Tanner and Dimples Morrell, all of Wayne County. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Fremont under the direction of the ward bishopric.
