Mary A. LaForce, 78, of 27 Bright St., died early Wednesday evening at the Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Hasting, N.Y., Aug. 23,1900, the daughter of Thomas and Angie (Barber) Whaley. She was the widow of Frank LaForce, who predeceased her in 1936. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alberta Aikey of Burlington, Mrs. Lorraine Bailey of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Leo (Colleen) Myers of Burlington; six sons, Raymond of Malletts Bay, Robert, Francis, Thomas, Ronald and Douglas all of Burlington; one foster son, Lawrence of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Latrell of New York; 32 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Home, 85 N. Winooski Ave., with interment following in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
