14 Aug 1947
Lloyd Walker, age 24, of Aurora, met death in what was found to be suicide at 1 o'clock a.m. Tuesday morning, August 12. The youth was shot through the middle just below the chest with a charge from a double barrel 12 gauge shot gun. The gun, only one barrel of which had been used, and a forked stick, with which he supposedly pressed the trigger, were found near the body. Ill health is presumed to be the reason for Walker taking his own life.
The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Walker, and three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral arrangements, which will be in charge of the Brashears Funeral Home, are incomplete at this time.
Survivors include his parents, Jason and Eva Walker; three sisters, Donna Cain, Huntsville; Beneya Hartzmann, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Imogene Walker of the home; and three brothers, Boyd Walker of Huntsville; and Arlis and Ottie Walker of the home.
